Following the cult success of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" television series in the late 1990s and early 2000s, creator Joss Whedon announced plans that he would continue the spinoff nature of the show by developing a show around Anthony Stewart Head, the British actor who played Giles in the Sarah Michelle Gellar-starring series.
The show never happened, but Head -- who now stars in the BBC series "Merlin" -- said it wasn't from a lack of trying.

Buffy has to be one of the best written show on television ... and to see the entire first season on DVD is huge! Unfortunately, it suffers from proper name, people tend not to give him a chance he deserves. Believe me ... this is definitely one to check! It is rare to see such talented actors cast in a cleverly scripted story. Congratulations to the creator, Joss Whedon to make his Hollywood movie sloppy and converting it into the serious drama /thriller / action / comedy, that he intended to stay.
