UFO Sighting - Police Helicopter & Lanterns

During June 2008 it was repotred by The Sun that the police in Wales had an altracatin with a UFO.

Later in the month The Telegraph reported that a newly wed couple had heard about this and revealed that they had released lanterns into the night sky about the same time and which when you read all the different stories involved seems to make the most sense RE the incident.

Now thats entertaining!

Yeah but the guys were experienced pilots and they claimed they saw really bright lights and that they chased after it but were unable to keep up and then had to return to base for fuel.

I hardly think they would have mistaken lanterns for UFO's and it must have been blowing a gale to send the lanterns speeding away, not that I'm saying they did actually come into contact with a UFO maybe more like a spy plane

Well I suppose there is a possibility a craft not needing refueling could have been present to!

I dont think little green men would buzz a helicopter, the police in other statements in other papers dismiss the claim.

Well whilst its unidentified its a ufo, but if we say we can roughly guess its either a latern or a blimp then its just a flying object (FO) and if we can say for certain its a lantern then its just an O

Aliens wouldnt travel insane distances just to play tag with a police helicopter, unless there the type that eat humans, and they forgot the helicopter tin opener, like a light picnic on an intergalactic scale.

I am unable to say where I read it but I saw something along the same lines a couple of days ago which would suggest people are jumping on the band wagon, as they also claimed they had seen lights in the sky.

It also mentioned they were all flying in a irregular formation and actually sounded very much like paper lanterns.

If paper lanterns are supposed to be UFO then i can see them all around a year ..lol
but i also suppose that thing is truely a UFO, because lanterns look different than UFO and anybody could have noticed that

There may be a posibility but without any proof we cant say anything as there are lots of humors in all around world not only in UK, Europe.

I have heard that USA scientist doing some underground experiment on UFO but after that i didnt heard much more.
