Here is how it works.

OK so you have a nice big wad of money in your hand. That is basically all you need to do what you like when you like and stick your fingers up to anyone and everyone else using the net

So Reputation Management Services provide(d) those with a bundle of cash a way to keep on making more cash.

I will take you through the process of how it works.

You sell crap or your service is complete shite. You get lots of complaints and people write awful things about your products and/or services all over the internet.

It doesn't matter! All you do is go to a Reputation Management Service and tell them your problem. They will then take a look and monitor your problem. Once they have the info they need and the money is clear in their bank they will set out on what can only be described as "Hiding your bad press in the net".

It does not take a genius to get a bunch of people to write some complete and utter bollocks and lies about you to counteract the bad press that is giving you a bad rep.

The Reputation Management Services employ people to write content designed to bury the bad press much lower down in the search results. This means that all that bad press and negativity about your products is in effect gone from view. Well it's not gone but it becomes really hard to find. It takes so long to find the bad press and negativity regarding your Business, product or service that most people just don't have the time to search for.

If you have some bad press appearing on page 1 for important search results in regards to your product or service, Reputation Management Services will write lot's of made up lies, deceitful misleading content, and pages designed to push all that bad press affecting your sales down into the realms of not found land.

Reputation Management Services basically set out to deceive and lie to the users of the internet by using their skill at manipulating search results with content written to line your pockets so that you line their pockets.

There is also a scam where Reputation Mangament Services could in fact generate their own incomes by first employing cheap labour to target a client so the c.client must spend to have their rep fixed.

Here is how that works.

Here is something real I know happens as I know a young man who got paid to do the following to supply his drug habit. I knew a young man (he is dead now due to these very same drugs the Glazier helped supply him with) who used to work for a 24hr Emergency Glazing and Boarding Up Company on the quiet (cash in hand) and the owner of the Company used to pay this young man to smash a particular window in the town centre on a Friday or Saturday night safe in the knowledge that he would recoup his £20 as he would be the first port of call when the Company who had the smashed window sought help. Simple Maths says £20 when a call out charge to board up and a follow up to replace the window is a good £20 lay out, that's simple economics

The Reputation Management Service provider can do this by employing people abroad to write lots of things about a Company so that the Company then must employ a Reputation Management Service to repair the damage being done.

This Reputation Management scam works brilliantly for the Reputation Management Service as they pay peanuts to ruin a rep then those with the ruined rep pay them 10 times the amount ventured by the Reputation Management Service Provider.

Obviously the Rep Managers need to be sure it is them you turn to when they venture their initial pay out to the cheap foreign labour to set out to create the need to use their service but that just takes a little planning is all.

If the fact that anyone with a wad of money can basically pay to get the search results they want in order to conduct biz wasn't bad enough this practice actually ruins the integrity of all the big search engines search results.

Think about it.

If you want to find truthful factual information about a product or service it is the internet you will be likely to turn to for information. If the information that warns you to beware and that spells out in no uncertain terms what people really think is being buried by content that lies and glosses over things to present a better image you can easily be deceived.

This can apply to pretty much anything that can be sold online. If you have the money to pay for it you can keep paying for people to write complete bollocks about your company that spells out how great you are and how fan bloody tastic the crap is you sell or the service you provide, that all the real buyers are only complaining about and you keep selling.

This is a true WIN win situation for you the provider of the complete and utter crap product or service, as long as your pockets still remain deep. It works well for the Reputation Management Service Providers as they earn there crust doing this and the only people not benefiting from this and getting a piece of the Pie is you the end user and the search engines as their search results can not be trusted due to manipulation by those who only care about one thing and one thing only "Making Money".

So next time you are looking to find some bad reviews about something or are checking out the rep of a service, product or Company bear in mind you might be reading complete and utter lies designed to ruin the integrity of search results and to deceive the end user in order to make you part with your cash.

IMHO Reputation Management Service Providers are the real "Black Hat" SEO Companies and "Black Hat" SEO Service providers. IMHO Reputation Management Services provide the end users of the internet with the most uninformative bunch of bull that it is possible to serve up to the unsuspecting public.

The Internet cannot be trusted and all the glossing over and inter related glossing over and voting and adding to reps etc done by Rep Management Services in order to deceive users of the internet is one of the main culprits and reasons why this "Fact" is so.

Sadly search engines are so imperfect the internet is broke, the internet does not work properly any more and the search results on the internet cannot be trusted in this regard until the problem of Rep Management Services is dealt with.

Sadly that is not going to happen as Reputation Management is big Business and so "The Internet is Broken"
