Get you fonts right
I am a writer I am writing children's book and boy do I have a brilliant illustrator to work with
But my five year old could not read a book recently and she is learning to read.
She is coming on in leaps and bounds and recently some WAZOC (as that is a polite way to describe the person who made the decision) decided it would be a good idea to print a Children's Book with some funky font that made things un readable
What!
I mean what do you say when you little girl says that's not a "G"
I will tell you what you say!
You say
No Darling somebody decided to use a font that is difficult for young children like you who are learning to read to properly see and understand properly, which means they are not helping you.
I should tell you a "font" is the style of the writing or the way it looks.
The person should have chosen a "font" like Trebuchet or Tahoma or Helvetica Arial which are also styles of font that are easier for young children like you to read darling, but sadly whoever made the decision to chose the font for this book did not consider how difficult it was for young children to read and learn from.
Bear in mind fonts when considering Children's Books please folks!
