Google Get Maths Wrong!

Oh my GOSH Google Get Maths Wrong! Shock News for everyone as it is revealed by WACICO and SEO Expert Keith D that Google have got the Maths Wrong in the addition of the map in the right hand column that was rolled out a couple of months or so back.

How it is panning out is that those with the Google Map A to H are getting page 1 placement above the Natural/Organic search results.

What this in effect means is that search results are not as good as they could be as the first seven on certain search terms only include the first seven in the maps.

Now if we look at this in regards to percentages this is not a good thing for anyone least of all the Companies not "lucky" enough to be A to H in the search results.

As if some search results we're not pants enough Google now delivers up 7 geographical map linked results for all search terms that pertain to the following

Find Geo Service
Geo Service

That is to say

Find New York Cartoonist

New York Cartoonist

Will provide 7 links that are listed A to H and are being pulled form the Maps feature now appearing in the right hand column (I have not checked those one's RE New York and I won't as I already know it is true)

Now is it just me or is this really SHITE?

I want to find things like more diverse than that, because someone from say the out back of nowhere's ville still does cartoons for New York I can then find due to other factors other than their snail mail address.

Why should Google Map results pertaining to address dominate the top half of the page?

Main reason I can see is that the Maths is being done in the hope for those larger impression rates so Google can charge for the map services in some way or other.

What other reason would Google want to ruin legit search results?

I mean I get why restaurants to some extent might be good to list in this way (though tbh let's face it search is rally not up to really returning much in truth now is it with 10 search results I mean it's a ruddy joke really) but even then this map above natural SERPS thing does not make sense any more than 10 halfway OK search results does but hey ho that's another story!

Personally I think Google has got the "Math" wrong on this one or as we say in the UK Google has got the maths wrong on this one.
