I've never been to Trek conventions and I've never dressed up as a Star Trek character for halloween either, but I love the Star Trek sagas. I can't wait till the new Star Trek comes out next spring. The director said he was more of a Star Wars fan as a youngster and hopes to make the next Star Trek have the same impact on audiences with Star Trek as Star Wars had on him.

This movie was AWESOME!!!

I was on the edge of my seat from the minute the film started, even before the opening credits, and I was having FUN the whole way through the movie.

I loved the way they used a slightly alternate reality (with a very plausible Star Trek reason behind the alternate reality) to weave together the whole history of the Star Trek series' and movies.

I loved meeting the crew of Kirk's Enterprise for their first time together and seeing the way they met. Particularly funny was the fact that Kirk disliked Spock when they met, but Bones (McCoy) liked him.

Anyway, thank you Diana-Faye for taking me to see Star Trek! I loved it!
