A Round Up of Arrivals and Departures!

Well as we lost all of our posts I thought I had better do a round up of all the news that has been announced lately.

Firstly super bitch Janine Butcher played by Charlie Brooks will be back in the autumn, we recently saw her when she returned for her father Franks funeral and was the same old selfish Janine though interestingly she was driving a big flashy car, what’s that all about?

Maggie O’Neill better known as Shiela in Shameless will be joining as Suzy Branning Jack and Max’s older sister; she will be on our screens in the summer and has been described as a glamorous woman but not one to be messed with who will set her sights on hard man Phil Mitchell.

Dippy Honey Mitchell played by Emma Barton is to be written out the show later this year. (I’ll personally miss her as her lines always had me in stitches muddling her words up and it will leave Billy being the grunt of the Mitchell family again)

Amanda Drew will be returning to play Mad May and has already been filming for a while so she should be back on our screens very soon, this will certainly come as a shock to Dawn Swan who luckily escaped May and her husband Rob after they tried to perform a caesarean and steal her baby.

Larry Lamb will be joining as Archie Mitchell, Ronnie and Roxy’s father also Peggy’s brother in law his character will show what it really means to be a Mitchell and is set to put the cat among the pigeons, watch out for him in July.

Joe Swash (Mickey Miller) and David Spinx (Keith Miller) are set to leave the square later this year.
Also leaving this year is bad boy Sean Slater played by Robert Kazinsky.

Did anyone see eastenders today when Honey went off in the taxi, it made me cry because I could hear the children in the background, it wouldn't of been as sad if they wasnt in the background. I dont usually cry if someone is just leaving and not passed away.

It was sad you hear one of the children saying Dadd....y though over all I think it was badly written it just seemed out of charactor for Honey to just leave like that though at least the door is always open for her to return.

Once again Billy is now left as the hopeless Mitchell he doesn't even have a job to keep his mind busy, poor bloke he will be a bad tempered guy from now on I imadgine.

Ye the bit that made it sad for me was the children shouting daddy and it was out of character but I think she will return. I liked honey she wasnt the average women you get in soaps, she just wanted a happy family

I can't think of another character like her in any of the soaps she must have been one of the only girls that didn't look at other men, cheat, lie or scam somebody she was as honest as they come which mad a change, her mix up of words use to have me in stitches and no one ever corrected her

Zahra Ahmadi who plays Shabnam has quit Eastenders after being on our screens for little over a year because of her characters lack of storylines.

Zahra said: "I've had a great time at EastEnders but I've made the tough decision to leave as I'm still young and I want to try other roles. I'm really happy the door has been left open for me to return as it has been a great experience."

However it's rumoured there are some big storylines coming up for the Masood family so it may well be she quit a bit to soon.

Also leaving the square is Bobby Davro who plays Vinnie Monks, Davro said “I have had a fantastic year with EastEnders, I have made lots of good friends and I hope to be back at some point."

He may well be now that his son Callum is on the square.

And finally Angela Wynter who plays Yolande Duke (Patrick Truemans mrs) will also be leaving this year.

Looks like the square will be seeing plenty of new faces at some point with all these departures and the recent death of Jase Dyer other wise the square will be looking a little empty.
