10 to the 100th Project & Google Celebrates Tenth Birthday

Well it all looks very good, yes the switch off adverts idea is the same I idea that I have on take the band ( and the same amount, well almost , mine is £11.88 - 99p per month lol) but I unlike you am not donating it to charity. I will be doing other things for charity but that will be revealed later. Fortunately now I have someone that can does all these things .

It is all a comprehensive plan and I hope that you get your dream and make it to the public vote !

Why do you think that your plan will reach the top ten and what does your plan have that will set it above the rest?

Do you think that it may be better to have entered one aspect of the plan , there is a lot to take in, will the general public get all of it?

Google are always doing some cool stuff re there competitions, but what do you get if you win?

Well Grumps as the "Double T Ted's" are the focus it is somewhat impossible to focus on just one character - Let's take HostTed as an example - The whole idea around HostTed is to focus on Hosting and Hosting related things but from my own perspective HostTed is just one Character among a potential 6028 + charcters that will be written about by me in short stories and also when I finally free up the time for the Novel I have started for the Double T Ted's.

The novel has some main central charcters including Ttted the Ted the King of the Ted's and TwistTed who will be a Teddy Bear Chubby Checker and the story is about the Double T Ted's ScoutTed's finding the human race and reporting back to Tted the Ted who in turn is managed by Double T Ted. (I would have Google contact Gary Leftkowith President of Chubby Checker records to get Chubby into the studio for "Get TwistTed" then" which would be for the film that gets made from the books soundtracks - The main soundtrack would be Tted the Ted King of the Ted's singing "Teddy Bear")

The Double T Ted's via initial reports from the ScoutTed's discover what a mess the human race is in and how close to destruction the World is alarmingly they discover that if they do not do something to help the human race with their problems not only will the human world fall into chaos and be destroyed their Teddy World will also be destroyed by the actions of humans.

So they set in place lot's of educational things to try to help the human race and by reforresting the desert regions by using desalination units to help with water supplies in east Africa to help the human population but also equally importantly the Elephants.

The reason for this is because the Double T Ted's work out that the only way to naturally reforest the desert's is to use Elephants who carry the acacia seeds in their stomachs to replant trees.

It's all at face value and espacially for those focused on their own thing seemingly complicated and might seem like I should focus on one Tted but that is not the plan. Never has been as the Double T Ted's are just cartoon characters that just so happen to have names that are connected to various business activities in some cases, ecological issues in other cases and educational things in other cases. Some have no connection to anything much of use to business or issues as such directly but because they would be characters they then become a workable business comododity just from being brought into life (as it were).

Because the Double T Ted's have charcaters like HostTed.net, AffiliatTed, InvestTed The Ted in a Vest that have actual plans for business to go with them this is why the "Switch Off Adverts" thing would work for Charity.

The whole idea being what is the motivation to "Swith Off Adverts"? (Other than they are just annoying which I assume is the way you are looking at it for your plans?) Well there would be the incentive of being able to choose Charities that do good and research how to make life better for people.

So for example GOSH (Great Ormonde St Childrens Hospital) would be one of the options. So when a person "Switches off Adverts" the money would go to GOSH in some cases, people would be able to choose their own favourite charity and get the feeling that they are doing good for others.

This is fitting in perfectly with what Google are looking for as they state on their "10 to the 100th Project" studies have shown that one of the keys to happiness is to do good for others and that wealth does not bring happiness as such (Well words to that effect) so the Double T Ted's would help to spread that feeling of happiness whilst at the same time doing good for all the Charities concerned. It is what you call a win win situation and one that I think would work as it gives an incentive to respond and the call to action needed to stimulate people to actually want to switch off adverts for a purpose other than just because some of them would rather not see adverts displayed.

So back to the Double T Ted's I like writing Grumps as I mentioned plan to write a novel about the Double T Ted's. That has always been the main plan for me. I didnt want to reveal my SEO hand but in order to prove I could really get things RE TVWotlds and the Double T Ted's etc I realised back in October last year that people did not believe (you may remember it it occured on PJ's) me so in order to prove it i have had to waste a few months of good writing time dominating various high ranks to try to show I was telling the truth.

Once I got the backing I could very easily walk around an office and direct ten or even twenty people on how to get all the Double T Ted's sites into position on page 1 SERPS. That would not take more than a few weeks and I would not need to put many hours in each day as my directions could be recorded so the workers could listen and implement my directions without my having to be there.

This would then free my time up to do my writing and focus on the novel that has been started for the Double T Ted's and that I have pretty much the whole storyline already in my head. A Story that works with evereything that Google is looking for re the "10 to the 100th Project" as the story was always going to be an educational sory that using the Double T Ted's would point out and show how to fix many of the world's wrongs.

The fact that Google have made the call to find ideas to change the World" at this time with the "10 to the 100th Project! is like a dream come true and an oppotunity to put all my plans in to action that I can not afford to ignore as it could just be the very thing the Double T Ted's need.

All I need is the book (and royalties from the susequent film) - the websites are a business and the charity thing something that can do good threefold- One fold for me as I will know I did some good Twofold for those making the donations as they can feel good about it and threefold for the charties which will be able to receive funding to help them continue theyre research.

blackbeard - You get backing and funding from Google to help others and something worth much more than gold - the chance to help others and spread some joy and happiness in this hard and difficult world that is at times a very sad place.

I just need to make it into the top 100 selected fpr public vote in the "10 to the 100th Project" competition and then get the votes.

I think what makes my plan worth considering for selection to the top 100 and up for the final vote is how I have so many characters that have such a chance at longeveity and that they encompass all the categories rather than just one.

Hopefully this will not be too complicated for the public and if selected will not stop people from voting for the Double T Ted's.

Three days left to get your ideas submitted folks so get those thinking caps on and get your great ideas in before the deadline.

Well my fingers are crossed MrFlicks, so it finishes on Monday when will you find out who is in the top 100 ,where will they be publishing it I thought I would have heard more about it but it doesn't see to have been advertised very well though there could be obvious reasons to that answer.

So is it the general public that will decide who gets in the top 10?

Top 20 will be what the general public get to vote on MissTVWorlds if I have read it all right.

To be honest I do not really mind whether the Double T Ted's idea submitted to the Google 10 the 100th Project competition makes the top 100 or the top 20 if other more deserving and better ideas are preferred.

That makes total sense to me as I hope Google, which I am sure they will, carefully consider the entries that they put up for the public vote as the public can be fickle and be biased for friends or other reason that are or should I say may not be genuine. so saying when you think about it Google is taking a great risk in their hope people really will follow their "try to do Good" philosophy.

I think Google will however choose very worthy entries and the voting should be pretty close as although as you point out Google did not advertise the 10 to the 100th project for long on the Google home page to my mind they being pretty confident the press and the public would pretty much take care of that for them they will to some extent make a bigger thing of the voting process.

Of course saying that the press the public and webmasters alike will probably take care of a lot of the getting the word out about the Google 10 to the 100th project.

That last link above I thought might be a good idea to add as only just over a couple of days left now for entering any ideas to Google TM
