Admin / Administrator aka General = "Leader" of the board and the mod's
AAMOF= As A Matter Of Fact
ADN= Any Day Now
AFAICS = As Far As I Can See
AFAIK = As Far as I Know
AFK = Away From Keyboard
AKA = Also Known As
ASL = Age Sex Location, mostly used in chatboards.
ASO = And So On
B4= Before
B4N= Bye For Now
BAK= Back At Keyboard
BBIAF = Be Back In A Few minutes
BBIAB = Be Back In A Bit
BFN = Bye For Now
BRB = Be Right Back
BYOB= Bring Your Own Beer
CMIIW= Correct Me If I'm Wrong
DH or dh = Dear Husband, Darling Husband...you get the idea!
DL = DownLoad
DIKU?= Do I Know You?
DTRT= Do The Right Thing
EOT= End Of Thread
F2F= Face To Face
FCOL= For Crying Out Loud
FFS - For F*cks sake
FUBAR= F*cked Up Beyond All Repair /Recognition (also spelled: foobar)
FUD= Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt
FWIW = For What Its Worth
FYA= For Your Amusement
FYI = For Your Information
GDK = Graphics Development Kit
General = see Admin
GIWIST= Gee, I Wish I'd Said That
GTG= Got To Go
Guard = see Mod
HHOK= Ha! Ha! Only Kidding
HHOS= Ha! Ha! Only Serious
HOYEW= Hanging On Your Every Word
IAC= In Any Case
IKWUM= I Know What You Mean
IMHO = In my humble opinion
IMNSHO = In My Not So Humble Opinion
ISO = In Search Of (also: exact copy of an original CD)
IMCO= In My Considered Opinion
IME= In My Experience

IOW= In Other Words

Mod / Moderator aka Guard = Person that make's sure the post's in the forum's he/she's responsible for are done by the rules

/OT = off topic (used when you want to add a small snipet that isnt related to the thread)
OIC = Oh I see
OTOH = On The Other Hand

PM = Personal Message
R = Are
RFC = Request For Comment
ROFL = Rolling On the Floor Laughing

u/s = UnServicable (not very common, used when something is broken)

n/a = Not Available or Not Applicable
PC = Personal Computer (for the real newbie, hehe)
SDK = Software Developer Kit
URI = Uniform Resource Identifier
URL = Uniform Resource Locator
WWW = World Wide Web
