Blimey the guys are one short after someone bottled it before he even got to the boardroom lol

The first task is about cleaners for everything the teams have a van each full of cleaning products and what they use they have to pay for the winning team will make the most profit.

Both teams have a warehouse to work from and the first thing they must do is think of a team name and pick a team leader, the boys choose the name Empire and put Howard forward as leader, while the girls decide upon Ignite as their name and choose Mona as team leader.

The boys have a meeting with a taxi company to car wash and the rest of the boys set about getting some shoe’s shined.
The boys having secured the car washing deal have started work but have already messed up after failing to wash the car roof, wetting the seats and leaving the windows filthy.

The rest of the boys have been shoe shining but realizing there is more money to be made with the cars they head over to help, but considering there are so many of them they are not getting many washed. They have finally satisfied the client and made a £180.

The girls have two meeting for car washing and have spent £197 on cleaning products arriving at the limousine company they ask for the three huma’s to be cleaned for £300 but the company are only willing to part with £120.

The girls having finished the huma’s are now stopping people on the road and getting them to pay £10 for a car wash the rest of the girls who have been cleaning the classic cars have failed because they have failed to satisfy the client due to their poor cleaning skills.
A last ditch attempt to make some more money the girls move on from the supermarket to door to door car washing.

It’s now back to the boardroom – the team leaders face a grilling from Sir Alan and the find out whether they were thought to be any good or not.

The girls made a profit of £165 while the boys made £239 so it’s off to enjoy cocktails for the boys while the girls are now going to be called back in to the board room where one will face the chop.

Well its now time to hear the girls squabble and be bitchy for a bit and it looks like project manager Mona is taking most of the flack and the rest are just jibber jabbering but Mona has decided to bring Deborah and Anita back into the boardroom.

Cor Anita has a face as mardy as bulldog while Deborah is far to bitchy and happy to pass the buck while Mona didn’t do exceptionally well as the leader she does hold her hands up for her mistakes, lol yes Anita has been fired which has been called correctly IMHO as she screwed up big time on the spending of the products and her statement of wahay were in budget was a joke.

This weeks task is to set up a catering service serving not only a lunch time service but also an evening service as usual the team who make the most win, again it’s boys verses girls.

The girls appointed Yasmina as team leader due to her experience of being a restaurateur, she decides upon offering a Mediterranean style the girls have secured two interviews for contracts lunch time wraps.
Kate who was doing the talking to one of the companies made a complete ass out of herself as she didn’t know what food was hot or cold and generally didn’t have a clue about anything and then had the cheek to say if it all goes wrong it will be Yasmina’s fault.
Though the girls have promised high quality food Jasmina has taken the decision to buy asda smart price chicken and Tuna to serve to her clients.

The girls lunches have not impressed with one single person as yet with one finding a hair in their salad, complaints of no dressings and the main filler being lettuce and cucumber and one man who bought a chicken wrap to find no chicken in it, at £3.50-£4 a go no one is getting their moneys worth.

The girls evening service is also not going to well with the girls food been chucked in the plants and passed back to them the so called Bellini’s are also falling short as they are wraps instead not to mention the topping falling all over the floor.


The boys have appointed Rocky as team leader he himself has experience within the sandwich industry which they decide is what they will be offering however were slow to secure any contracts.
The boys have secured a contract for £15 ph despite the rest of the team insisting on minimum of £60 ph.

Despite having no big orders the plan is to sell as many as possible on the streets of London some of the sandwiches on offer are peanut butter, cous cous salad and chicken tikka.
Their sandwich street selling has gone down well and has been flying out of the boxes so it already looks like they may out do the girls not only on sales but quality and presentation.

For the evening service the boys are dressing in toga’s which hasn’t impressed the clients as they had hoped with most finding it a turn off which is not surprising they are hardly gods.

The boys are also serving tortillas with a slice of sausage and voil au vonts with chicken tikka which are being served cold much to the annoyance of the guests also on the menu is cheese on a stick with a square piece of red onion and a chuck of pickle.


Back to the boardroom for both teams now and it will be a hard call to say who has done the worst until we hear the figures as both teams and their leaders did a terrible job.

The girls spent £304.57 and despite the client not being happy with the quality of the food they made a profit £600.21 with the girls winning they are been treated to a lesson in polo.
The boys spent £801.71 with a loss 167.78 meaning one of them is up for the chop its funny really because Rocky owns 15 sandwich outlets and yet managed to fail miserably seeing as they made a loss it a shock that he managed to open 15 shops and not go bust he should have wiped the floor with the girls.

Rocky has decided to bring back James and Howard, lol James is playing the hurt card and denies any responsibility while Howard is saying it went wrong due to Rocky’s immaturity being only 21 which in my opinion is a low blow because he cant think of a good reason.
Sir Alan has decided that team leader Rocky is fired though I think he wont forget James and Howard in a hurry!

Lee Valley Athletic Center is the meeting point for the candidates and Sir Alan’s task for them is to invent a piece of portable gym equipment and to then sell it the team that sells the most amount of machines wins.

This week Sir Alan has mixed the teams up wahay….

James is leading Empire team his first task is also in charge of design and to trying to come up with a name for their equipment so far they have come up with “bingo busters” which will work out the arms.
Ben speaks with the designers and try’s to push forward the multiple use bingo buster. Empires home multi tone gym in a box has arrived and it looks like a big briefcase/ tv stand.

Their first pitch received medium feedback with the manager of the gym saying he was unlikely to offer these to customers when he would rather refer them to the more expensive multi gyms their second feedback was it was a bit 70’s and didn’t look all that great.


While Debra is leading Ignite and have yet to decide upon a piece of equipment let alone a name for their piece they decide to visit a gym for some advice with less than hour before they have to pitch their idea to the designers they are stuck.
Arriving at the designers still undecided they eventually agree upon “the bumble” as a name.

They have now received their prototype which they have renamed “the body rocker” which is for toning the stomach, Lorraine is set to pitch though I’m not holding out much hope as it’s not only being sold with lies but claims that haven’t been proven safe and to be honest sounds like a load of waffle.
First pitch went down reasonably ok however it was very much like the gym ball and it would be hard to market however they were getting close to a deal with John Lewis.


With both teams back in the boardroom who will win? I think personally it might be Ignite as their product looks like something you could go and find in the argos catalogue tommorow.

Ignite managed to get 70 orders plus 100 orders and finally got 10,000 orders from John Lewis as they have clearly won they will be hearing a performance from Catherine Jenkins.
Empire only received 500 orders from John Lewis, so one of them has got to go, James has decided to bring back Ben and Majid.

I think it’s a bit unfair to blame Ben when he was the only guy to come up with an idea no one else had ideas they all went for it and as Sir Alan just said without him they would have had nothing James is happy to say yes yes but it looks rubbish it was up to him and the rest of the team to design it better Ben couldn’t do everything.

I think personally Majid should go he does seem pretty useless however James passes the blame anywhere but himself.
Sir Alan has fired Majid lol though James has just been told he is so close to the door he doesn’t even know how close!

Well its week four and the team head off to Kew Gardens to meet Sir Alan this weeks task is to produce two original and natural beauty products.

Sir Alan has once again swapped the teams around and is deciding this weeks team leader Nooral is team leader for Ignite and Paula will be team leader for Empire,
each team has its own laboratory to create their products


Paula and the team decide to come up with shower gel and bubble bath using the main ingredients sea weed and honey so with half the team heading off to collect the fresh sea weed while the others remain in the lab mixing the basic formula.

Testing various oils to find out what smells best they decide upon sandlewood and lavender which happens to be one of the most expensive oils they then struggle to work out the formula confusing grams with percentages.

After Nick goes over the figures with them Yasmina and Paula realize they have not spent £5 but in fact £700 on the sandlewood how stupid can you get.
Paula’s team are doing much better selling despite being situated next to a food van their products are selling well even at £3 so they have now started upping the price, Portobello Rd is proving to be an excellent spot catching some of more wealthy people.


Nooral’s team also decide upon soap and bubble bath with honey he then sends half the team away to collect fresh honey though how much they are to collect is still a mystery lol.
Frustrations between two team members creates a bad atmosphere as Philip gets agitated by Kimberly and her inability to offer an opinion while Noorul as acted like anything but a team leader and doesn’t even seem to understand what is happening with their product.

Norrals team are promoting their honey theme by dressing up in bee keeping outfits not a friendly look when your selling to people who are seated about to have their lunch and has so far sold nothing while the rest of the team inside the shopping center they are failing to attract any attention.

Nooral’s team are doing badly they have more than half their stock left and are now slashing prices to a £1 ooh no they have sunk even lower offering 2 bottles for a £1 oh and now 3.

Back in boardroom Sir Alan looks less than impressed by Ignites attempt of honey soap

Ignite made a profit £397 while Empire made a loss of nearly £70 so Paula’s team will be back in board room for a grilling so here we go ooh Sir Alan thinks despite it all they did make a great product.

Ben as per usual is wiggling his way out of any responsibility he was asked to over see the costing and was only a foot away and yet claims it had nothing to do with him I’m glad Sir Alan is giving him a hard time.
Paula has unsurprisingly decided to bring Yasmina and Ben back into the board room with her, let’s see whether or not Ben manages to keep to his promise of ripping Paula to shreds.

What a joke I’ve got a scholarship to Sandhurst says Ben get a life you saddo what has that to do with anything I really don’t think Paula should be fired she created an excellent product.
Damn Sir Alan has chosen the wrong person he’s fired Paula! It so should have been Ben he is such an idiot.

Seems like half the Country or more dislike Ben Clarke.

Maybe Sir Alan has left for the Entertainment Factor. He certainly generates a lot of publicity for the show with all the comments being made about him. You know what they say about "No Publicity is Bad Publicity". There is more than one way of looking at that phrase! LOL

This week’s task is to create a breakfast cereal featuring a cartoon character they also have to make a advert for the cereal.

Kate’s team come up with a parrot dressed as a pirate while sending two of her team off to create a jingle they have now decided on Treasure Flakes as the name of their cereal.
Hiring a professional advert singer they come up with their catchy jingle meanwhile Ben is dressing up as the pirate parrot who is names Captain Squawk their advert will include a young boy eating his cereal and then turning into a pirate.
No way Kate dislikes the woman singing on their ad so has decided to cut her out and add Ben instead to sing the theme jingle.
Their selling pitch goes down rather well with plenty of laughs from the audience however they are questioned about trying to cram to many benefits into the one cereal.

Kim’s team have designed a super hero that kind of resembles the rice crispy characters Philip is struggling to get on with Kim and Lorraine which is leading to massive friction between the group decisions are hard to make when they are unable to agree on anything.
With Lorraine and Philip commenting on each others negative comments but finally they have produced their box with the brand being called Wake up Call and the design of the box is bright green featuring their super hero.
Noorul is also dressing up as super hero pants man to include in their 30 second ad however while they think they have a funny ad the children who feature fail to see the funny side.
Pants man also goes down well for their pitch however their lists of ingredients receives more than a few frowns and while their super hero is liked there is confusion as to his role in the actual brand name.

Back in the boardroom with Sir Alan who starts with team Ignite. Lorraine states to Sir Alan that she was unhappy with Kim’s leadership skills and that her original idea was ignored though Sir Alan is clearly not interested followed by team leader for Empire Kate who it seems most was happy with.

Kate’s team created the most liked cereal brand and box and therefore has won leaving team Ignite to face the music with Sir Alan and of course one person will then be leaving and it looks like Lorraine may be up for the chop as she hacked nearly everyone off and voiced her opinion to Sir Alan once to often about her feelings.

Oh my god Kim just said she didn’t do the pitch because she doesn’t feel comfortable doing it even though she is a marketing consultant, she has now decided to bring back Lorraine and Philip so one of them is facing the chop.

OMG Kim is such a drama queen she also just loves the sound of her own voice and talks over the top of every body lol Sir Alan just told her to stop talking about Phil like she is his therapist yay Sir Alan has fired Kimberly!!!

The candidates head to west London to an auction house in where Sir Alan announces this week’s task is to sell the given items; they are warned not to take some of the items at face value when evaluating the prices.

Ignites team leader as chosen by Sir Alan is Philip who also splits his team he also decides to take the skeleton which he believes is the most profitable item after visiting a old curiosity he is directed towards the shops near the university where such things are purchased by medical students.
Philip still hooked on the skeleton he once again becomes agitated by Lorraine who believes that the Persian rug holds value heading to a bar Philip try’s flogging his prized possession and eventually sells it for £160, the half of his team head to the market and shout out what they have to sell.
The Persian rug which is actually worth at least £200 is being carried around the streets in an attempt to sell it and then offered door to door Margaret who is over seeing the team is furious at their stupidity, with only half hour left to sell the rug Philip is left rubbing his head after stopping a man on the street he sells it for £60
Oh my god I can’t believe Philip he is now saying that Lorrain never mentioned that it was worth anything and only speaks out after the sale unbelievable.


Empire’s leader is Ben who as per usual believes that as Sandhurst believes he is a natural leader he is clearly a born leader his first decision is to split the group he arms himself with seven items while the others are only given three.
Ben takes the books to be priced though is unhappy at the speed in which they are being valued the first edition Ian Flemming book fails to be noticed moving to another book shop they sell the Bond book for £100.
A poster of Frank Lampard is sold for £40 and 8kilo’s of jellied eels for £30 managing to sell the skeleton for a poor £60 despite knowing its worth at least £150.
Ben tries to sell the commode chair with out much success though he does do one good thing by shutting up Debra who can do nothing but moan about her fellow team mates.
The leather shoes and the pottery dogs are offered and flogged along the street seeing it only as junk, they also are struggling to sell their rug though eventually sell it for £55.


Back in the boardroom Margaret backs Lorraine up that she did in fact speak out about the rug but was ignored lol Margaret said she was the Cassandra of the team even Sir Alan didn’t have a clu

Ignite made a loss of £34 overall meaning they won the task and receive a reward of truffle tasting, I am slightly annoyed as I was hoping Philip would be fired after his out and out cheek and lies, though I see while enjoying their treat he kind of admits that he was wrong and Cassandra/Lorraine deserved a toast after putting up with him all day.

Empire made a massive loss of £169 over all meaning Ben and co are back in the boardroom to face Sir Alan alone and one will be getting the chop!
Who deserves to go is a hard one for me Ben was a fool trying to sell everything as if it was junk sale while sour face Debra is a nasty piece so I wouldn’t mind seeing her go oh god she is at it now she is so out to save her own backside lol Sir Alan just gave her a dressing down for the way she speaks to people.
Ben has decided to bring Nooral and after some thought changes his mind from James to Debra, ooh big dispute between Nooral and Ben oh no now Ben’s arguing with Debra his problem is he talks to much and they are getting no where he actually has no valid points.

Sir Alan has fired Nooral as he didn’t actually know what he was doing there meaning Ben has had a very close/lucky escape on another note I’m glad Sir Alan told Debra if she spoke to anyone like that again she needn’t bother coming back.

Noorul was daft!

He should have made a point that he arranged for the meet to sell the skeleton and that Ben did indeed close the deal which caused one of the biggest losses. It might have made a big difference.

Ben's leadership skills I have to question. After harping on week after week about being a leader all he did was moan about it.

No doubt he is OK at sales but selling the skeleton that Noorul had a value of £150 odd on for £60 was hardly good salesmen ship now was it?

Noorul should have made these points in the boardroom and may be he would have made Sir Alan more aware of his contribution and survived to fight another day.

I must say I didn’t understand Nooral before Ben picked him and Debra to go back in the boardroom with him Nick was saying that it was Ben who had closed the deal on the skeleton and lost the team money and yet for some reason Nooral jumped in saying no it wasn’t him he had closed the deal took the money so it wasn’t Ben's fault. I presumed at the time he was trying to stick up for Ben in the hope he wouldn't be brought back into the boardroom.

Yet as you say he had set up a meeting and new before hand that it was worth £150min so why he said that I don’t know.
It was odd also that when Sir Alan was discussing who to fire with Nick and Margaret he made the comment “well just look who closed the deal” referring to Noooral yet Nick knew that it was Ben I know Nooral landed himself in it but it sits very oddly with me!
