Just watching the first semi finals show of Britain's Got Talent and the guy named Michael Machell who came down in an space ship with his keyboard to play the Star Wars theme tune was totally having the mickey taken out of him by Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan IMHO

The guy was as bad as he was playing as he was the first time round maybe he was actually a half decent player but the sound setting he had it on made it sound awful, while Simon buzzed him off Piers and Amanda let him play to the end then Amanda has the cheek to tell him all the mistakes he made.

What Piers was playing at I don't know hence I think he was taking the mickey saying how fantastic he was and yet the audience were shouting Off and with good reason though I did feel sorry for the guy that experience would not be nice.

Whether the guy was just mad or not he truly felt he had done a good job and had practiced hard so he obviously wanted it - poor guy

That bloke Tracey was funny - dressed as a woman and he can actually hold a tune though weirdly sounds like a woman, so while he was entertaining he's not a contender for winning.

Wow those two guys called Signature were excellent that must have really taken some practice the younger guy danced as good as Michael Jackson himself, I'm sure they will go through to the final.

Off Topic - It's funny hearing 15p from every call goes to charity after the fiasco of the phone line scandal

The two acts - Signature and Kate & Gin the Dog are through to what exactly?

All this week if you watch Britain's Got Talent you will see all 40 people who were put through to the semi finals after passing the auditions, each night two acts will go through to the finals.

Tonights two lucky acts were Kate and Gin (the dog) and Signature.

One act will be chosen by public vote and the judges will pick the other from a choice of two so we'll be left with 10 acts battling it out in the final on Saturday, a winner will then be crowned.

Who will not only get to perform at The Royal Variety Performance in front of Prince Charles but also receive a check for £100,000, also if your really good then Simon will sign you up and you'll become a star

Remember last years winner Paul Potts the Opera singing guy

Yeah you got it and yes I think it's safe to say Simon Cowell is pretty damned savvy , I was reading the other day about how he sold his his company Simco to Sony BMG for £43 million, Simco produces X Factor, Britain's Got Talent and lots more.

Though Simon still gets a slice of the profits as a salary, Simco is also the only registered part of Simon's more famous company Syco according to the Sunday Mirror

Well I missed last nights episode due to it clashing with The Apprentice though I saw The Cheeky Monkeys at the beginning of the show and I hear today they got through to the final, which is great as they were a cute pair of children who did a great dance routine.

Chorister Andrew Johnston also made it through to the final though that was obvious he was going to go through as his audition was excellent.

My girlfriend watches that all the time, Its not my choice of telly especially when it clashes with the football. But its shown on ITV2 at 10pm and again the following day.

I would guess the singer one will win, the girl that has the voice.

The people on britains got talent might be exceptional but the british voting public well there not so exceptional - who knows what they think, last year was strange, a better act lost to opera, some would argue it was fixed!, much like last years winners teeth

I only truly like the auditions they are just so funny and intensely cringe worthy

Blackbeard I find it so funny that all the guys that have ever posted on tvworlds (old forum included) blame their girlfriends for having these programs on and thats being the only reason why they watch it.

I know which girl you mean though she would get a contract with Simon no matter what he already reportedly gave her extra singing lessons.

The 12 year old Operatic Girl Singer is pretty much through - so as there are only 2 places per show I would say the other's who appear on the nights show she appears on will be er somewhat worried shall we say.
