Pauline Quirke Joins Emmerdale

Birds of a Feather star Pauline Quirke is set to join the cast of Emmerdale as Hazel the mother of Jackson Walsh who has featured in the massive storyline of Aaron's sexuality, Hazel will pop in to see her son and will end up in a massive storyline when she gets involved with a newly single villager and becomes involved in something that will effect not only herself and her son but also his lover Aaron.

Series producer Gavin Blyth said: "I am absolutely delighted that Pauline will be joining Emmerdale at such an exciting time. She is a fantastic actor who I know will do justice to this character, alongside Aaron and Jackson she will be at the centre of an enormous and gripping storyline this autumn/winter. One to really look forward to."

Let me take a guess that the newly single character is "Bob Hope" whose wife Viv Windsor recently changed the locks on after chucking him out.

I thought exactly the same thing myself they are the right age for each other I dont think there is anyone else who could or would fit the bill, I know your not a fan of her MrFlicks but I think she will be good hopefully she will get plenty of comical lines alongside Bob who also likes to be the joker, though I am still left wondering what this big plot will be that will effect her, Jackson and Aaron?

Well her and Bob haven't exactly been getting it on though they are now good friends but I'm thinking nothing will really happen because she is now friends with Viv plus that would be in bad taste to get with her ex and she doesn't seem that type of person, I'm actually liking her character she takes the mickey out of Aaron and even though he gives her some scowls and a half she just lets it ride on by.

I wouldn't bank on it, I reckon the recent storyline with the blind lady Lizzy could be what leads to things developing in the regard of Bob Hope & Hazel Rhodes played by Pauline Quirke.
