Usernames on TVWorlds - Please note

I try to do all I can to verify the authenticty of users on TVWorlds.com.

I will not be happy to allow fake users using famous names as other sites do and will be putting blocks on the use of certain names untill I can verify their authenticty >

So to avoid confusion I have thus far blocked others from registering as

Matt Cutts
Bill Gates
Lee Evans (We have a Lee Evans Cartoonist Member)

and Fleetwood Mac by registering those names as members myself untill further notice

By taking the liberty of getting in there first I have secured some extra claritabilty to things when it comes to TVWorlds as opposed to the likes of MySpace and other sites - Users of TVWorlds wishing to use others names will have to pass stringent checks to verify to me they are actually who they claim to be or I will give the registered names to the verified relevant people and or companies groups or whatever they may be irrelevant of who attempted to register a particular name as their TVWorlds username.

Please contact me via admin at hostted dot net if you are a person or company or other that feels your Identity has been misrepresented or misused in any way here on TV Worlds.

I appreciate your response and thank you for your input but I will not be able to attend any Buck Pal engagements due to prior commitments and security issues

I would however like to point out that due to my own insights the Rock/Pop band/group "Queen" will have prior claim to the name "Queen" here on TVWorlds!

Please if you were/are really the Queen of England (Etc) or a verifiable representative with permission from HRH to do so register with the most appropriate username.

But i dont claim to be "that one" lol,

But on a serious note, theres a lot of famous people out there, and some will share the same name, I know 2 steve davis's none are any good at snooker tho

I think your right it will prevent stuff like pretending to be the person and forum gunk.

I like that word gunk reminds me of engines and i like engines too :P

Anyhow before i stray into incoherrent mumblings yea its a good idea, but in practice its a blooming long list your going to need.

I came up with the idea because of MySpace and a contact I have Pete Townshend who is a a fake Pete Townshend but at least had the decency to admit as much to me.

There are some very real famous names on MySpace but alas there are also fakes to - which MySpace do not seem to be addressing so I want to make sure the same does not happen here on TVWorlds.

It would be prerable for people best known for a name to have control of it IMHO.
